Hamilton Speedskating Free Speedskating Meet
By Matthew Wongkee
Come see what Canada's most successful Winter Olympic sport is all about!
Ontario's top youth speedskaters will be competing in fast-paced races throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, just like the ones you see at the Olympics. Many of these athletes are from your local Hamilton Speedskating Club, where skaters can start as young as 4 years old.
This is a free, family-friendly event and great opportunity to:
- discover an exciting Olympic sport - enjoy a unique weekend outing - learn more if you or your child are thinking about trying speed skating next fall
