Why Hamilton SSC
A welcoming home for every skater.
We’re a volunteer-run club where families learn the sport together. Whether you are just starting skating or chasing a national time, you’ll find a spot.
Two home arenas
Train at Chedoke Arena in Hamilton and F.H. Sherman Arena in Stoney Creek, with multiple weekly sessions across both.
National-level coaching
Head coach Mike Murray is a Speed Skating Canada Hall of Fame athlete and a CAC-certified National Level Coach. A team of volunteer coaches runs practices alongside him.
